Snubfin Dolphin Project is very proud to have supported Wilma Mavea to undertake her Postgraduate Diploma in Science at University Papua New Guinea during 2016-2017. Wilma’s thesis was entitled: Comparison of inshore-dolphin abundanceestimates from Cleveland Bay, North Queensland and Kikori Delta, PapuaNew Guinea; identifying factors that may influence the success of surveys’.Funding for Wilma to study at UPNG was provided by ExxonMobil PNG Ltd.
